Bruce Irick

Executive Vice President, Private Banking Manager
"The best thing we can do is proactively listen to our clients’ stories. That’s how we find out what they need, so we can guide them in the right direction. Part of our job is to sit and visit with them, understand their goals and the "why" behind the goals."

Bruce Irick heads our private banking division at The Bank of Austin, where he forms meaningful relationships with his clients to help promote their financial growth. With over 30 years of experience at both large and small banks, Bruce’s extensive knowledge serves as a valuable benefit for Austin’s business owners.

Bruce earned his BBA in Marketing and Finance from The University of Texas at Austin. Before joining our team, Bruce was the Regional Private Banking Manager at one of the top national banks in the U.S. His community activities involve serving on the boards of Ballet Austin and Central Texas Folds of Honor, and previously served as Board Chair for the American Red Cross of Central Texas.
